And a little later, the train pictured above went directly behind my house here in Tennessee on the KD Subdivision. About all I ever saw was coal trains passing loaded to the south and unloaded to the north. These days, I do not see many trains anymore let alone coal trains, but when I do, they are a lot, lot longer with DPU's scattered throughout the train. Those were the days. Over three decades ago.
