I certainly agree to your comments from the first sentence to the last. I could not stand the black paint patch job and did not actively pursue units in that paint scheme when I fanned the Soo in North Dakota back in the 1990's until the end of the Soo. I feel that Canadian Pacific will pay homage to KCS and CP-KC but they will eventually return to an all red railroad with perhaps a few KCS "heritage" locomotives.
