This is train 457 from saskatoon to calgary. Also, not a branch line but CP's northern main line which runs from winnipeg thru S'toon to red deer and edmonton. Your odds were actually pretty good, 457 runs daily, and SD40-2s are the usual power for mixed freights out of saskatoon. Anyway, nice shot chris.
