Straighten the front coupler, throw some paint on it, it should be good to go. It's sad to see it in this condition. Hopefully they can address it some time soon.

I remember seeing that at Bellows Falls.....when it actually looked salvageable. This piece has been in exactly the same spot for at least the last 13 years. One would think that the Park Service would be looking for takers for the pieces of its collection that the management knows will never be addressed, so their park wouldn't look more like a junkyard than a museum.

The museum has this engine on their list of locomotives that they intend to restore cosmetically, however there are other projects that must be completed first.
