SW1504's are models unique to Mexico, well until now, these units I think might have been sold by FNM after privatization, and were leased by HLCX for a period of time to FTVM (Ferrocarril Terminal del Valle de Mexico) in Mexico City, that's why they wear that green scheme, it is FTVM's paint scheme, only without their logo in the middle of the locomotive and the Mexican flag on the cab. I'm surprised to see they're now working in the US.

Yes its interesting engine. SW1504 in green paint. Also seen in this photo: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=102189 There are 3 of these engines working in DALLAS on the DGNO. These engines have dynamic braking from what I'm told. Very interesting engines I've never seen before till there move to DALLAS TEXAS. - David Hawkins
