There are some liveries which work so well in general concept that major alterations don't hurt them. Some, whereas, seem to be made worse by any change. Union Pacific colors have never been a favorite, but I notice that, whenever toys and cheap models get the livery slightly wrong, it looks actively bad. I'm noting that here because this is something I didn't expect: an example of a UP-*like* scheme that isn't an exact copy and manages to not look bad.
