Posted by J. Alex Lang on January 8, 2005  I believe that first car is used to haul solid-rocket booster sections for the Space Shuttle to Cape Canaveral. If I recall correctly, they come from Thiokol's plant somewhere in Utah. Posted by Patrick Phelan on January 8, 2005  True, the FEC does deliver those cars to NASA. This car is carrying airplane engines to a Vought Aerospace refurbishing facility in Stuart, FL.
