Trains run through here all day long. This is the Union Pacific mainline Coast Subdivision between Oakland and Southern California. In addition to UP freghts, Amtrak California Capitols and San Joaquins come and go all day long. Also the Amtrak Coast Starlight comes through here as well. It is probably the busiest stretch of street running trackage in the US. It is a great place to watch trains.
