Yes, that's called irony - just as Conrail was moving its priority MAIL, TV and symbol freights off the Northeast Corridor and onto the RDG-LV route between Harrisburg, PA and the northern NJ terminals, they at the same time took track 1 out of service from "Potter" in Edison through Port Reading Jct., reducing capacity, flexibility and speed on the new main line!
