I've always liked mid-train helpers. CP's been using them for a long time in BC.
CP-CN-BN-BC Rail-MRL all frequent this gigantic transloading facility. CP 5811 is traversing the huge loop track around mountains of coal, coke, sulphur etc. to the rotating dumper.
