Returning to it's name sake city, the Santa Fe Southern "mixed" crosses a classic wooden trestle outside of town. The train met Amtrak's Southwest Chief at Lamy and is on the return leg home.

Finally a peak of sun as the crew of 1712 departs the Brickyard and into the tunnel of trees. It's a pretty good hill up into the plant and the engine sounds great shoving loads up in.
Everett Railroad Co. GP16 heads South with cars for the Brickyard at Sproul and also a customer at the Everett Railroad Shops in Claysburg.
