Southern Rwy units 3170 and 5000 at TVRM , Chattanooga , Tn.

Restored and recently donated Southern Railway SD40 No. 3170 is accompanied by TAG GP38 No. 80 at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum on the night before Railfest 2016.

The Southern engs were set up for the Southern Railway Historical Association convention a great start for National Train Day at NCTM, Thanks everyone for the hard work to set this up.

Southern painted NS SD40 No. 3170 leads E14, relief for P94, south through Thomasville, NC on a comfortable April night. This was such a treat to see on the high iron of the Piedmont in 2016.
