Back to my railfan photography roots: a BNSF Rush Island coal train accelerates over the bridge at MP 12.5.
This BNSF train comes off the T.R.R.A.'s Highline and snakes down the yard lead. It will soon reach Grand Ave. interlocking and return to its home rails.
Late in the afternoon, a warbonnet leads two rent-a-wreck tunnel motors across Laclede's Landing, past the old Union Light power plant, and the President Casino.
Two BNSF locomotives, borrowed by the terminal, pull a string of the Manny's home-road boxcars into their yard for interchange.
Terminal has shown up to the Manny today with a set of borrowed BNSF motors. Regular power on this run is the switchers, like the one in the background.
A freshly painted Terminal switcher sits with a former UP SW10. They are bracketing an interesting car, though I have no idea what it is.
UP ballast train WBTIMB 28, headed for Iron Mountain, MO, swings off the MacArthur Bridge and onto the south approach that will carry it into Lesperance St. Yard.
BNSF 9730 pops out from under the Eads Bridge complex preparing to go under the Gate Arch.
Southbound along UP's Lesperance Street Yard & the south approach of the MacArthur Bridge.
5010 after just recieving a fresh crew, prepares to head for Lindenwood Yard, while a UP empty rack train passes overhead.
