The Glacier Discovery train departs Portage shoving back to Whittier to pick up passengers and then will depart Whittier for the trip up to Anchorage.

Led by ARR #3010, the Glacier Discovery train slows down for a stop to load people coming off the Spencer Glacier rafting tour (including the photographer).
