235 struggles out of the Grand River Valley just after sunrise on Easter Sunday.....soon to be back up to track speed, and a lift of new Toyota's in Wolverton...8 miles ahead.
With a little help from BNSF 8505, 147 sprints west over the roller coaster that is the west end of the Galt Sub.

In beautiful afternoon sun, BNSF 6363 adds its muscle to 147 on it's afternoon run from Toronto to Chicago.
Reminding us of the days when C424's and RS18's dragged tonnage up the Niagara Escarpment, 7018 takes us back to a simpler time, with a wonderful heritage paint scheme.

The sun is bright as one of 10 of CP's Heritage SD70's works on its last leg to Toronto Yard. It is really wonderful that CP hasn't forgotten where they came from....
Charging west over the hogbacks with an AC4400 and SD70ACU trailing. In another 15 miles at Wolverton, they'll fill out to about 10000 feet adding new Toyotas to the Chicago bound train.
The crowds have gone home and the benches are empty. It is business as usual as another nameless train roars through Galt, ON. Just a few hours earlier though, it was a much different scene as tho... (more)
