The silence of the cold and snowy night was broken by a fast moving eastbound coal drag headed for the yard at Hinton.

The very first light of day is barely starting to illuminate the sky as ballast train W075 ducks under the "Meadow Creek" signal cantilever.

Done for the day, the H801 has cut off their train and is about to head back into the yard to tie up for the day.

A C&O cantilever basks in the late-day sun, protecting the east end of the complex at Meadow Creek. These signals are slated to be replaced in the near future, which is quite a shame.
