Running with only six coaches and a combine on Jan. 21, 1984, Rio Grande’s ski train is nearing the shortest tunnel on the route, No. 29 which is only 90-ft. in length, near Pinecliff, Colo.
It was definitely worth to climb up the to the top of one of the rocks at Pinecliff. A BNSF mixed was on it's way to Denver, hauled by ES44DC #7705, #7415 and C44-9W #5423
