Passing By. As the duo of BNSF units waits along with a BNSF unit train in the background, a Sounder train heads for the North Portal.

Ambling Along. One of the units on the First Hill Streetcar Line passes near King Street Station on its way east.

Waiting to Depart. Recently returned to service, the Mt. Jefferson trainset prepares to depart Seattle for parts south.

Exiting the Tunnel. A BNSF intermodal exits the South Portal on its southbound journey through the city.

Passing Through. A CN tanker car unit train passes through Seattle headed south.

BNSF 5763 W/B unit coal train at Providence, WA on September 19, 2023 with BNSF 9266 & 5806 and a rear DPU. This W/B will now be working downgrade to Pasco on the Lakeside Sub.

Columbia Basin, CBRW 171 W/B Connell Turn working downgrade on the 1% compensated line between Schlomer and Connell on September 19, 2023, with CBRW 651 & 166. This location is above Moon Road.

Inbound through Town. With the Salish Sea and Puget Sound in the background, one of the daily Sounder trains approaches North Portal on its way to the King Street Station.

Columbia Basin, CBRW 166 leads a mixed freight up the 1% compensated grade near Moon Road and Schlomer, WA on June 26, 2023 with CBRW 651 & 610. All 3 units are rebuilt SD9's.
