A mixed set of Alco cabs units with a couple of "torpedo tube" dual purpose GP7s is lined up at Corbin for a northbound tonnage coal train for DeCoursey (Cincinnati).
This paint scheme was, without much debate, as drab as anything one could see. However, the gold lettering and red herald at least added more color than today's NS scheme.
