The N&W 611 builds up speed as it leaves Front Royal for the journey back to Manassas, Virginia on its morning excursion.
Norfolk & Western 611 passes a group of on-lookers along Happy Creek Road on the east side of Front Royal on it's morning excursion from Manassas to Front Royal.
Norfolk & Western 611 passes the line of photographers at Bust Head Road west of Haymarket, VA on it's morning run from Manassas to Front Royal.
N&W 611 crosses over an Ex Southern Railway bridge on the NS B Line with 'The American', on its way back to Manassas.
Norfolk and Western passes by a grain elevator in Marshall on the way back to Manassas with 'The American'. More railfans than I could count were here at this location to watch the J roll by.
