Tied down at Sayre is the H13 local train with the Erie heritage unit behind the two black NS units.
We stopped in Sayre on our way to Binghamton and found this SD-50 switching cars on a work train. The top of the Sayre station can be seen above the 3rd car.
LV 213 move the LV wreck train back to the Mechanical track. In 1975 this yard was very active, today only the main line next to the station is all that is left.
4 ex LV RS-11s depart Sayre with a train for Allentown.
An Eastbound CR freight in the Sayre yard has 2 clean blue engines and a black switcher. This ex LV yard was active until about 1984.

RS-3 #215 shares the ready track with C420 #408. The smoke is not coming from the Alco, but from idling Baldwin switcher #232 beside it.
On a hazy summer morning, BNW3's power cuts off after yarding its train in the LV's Sayre north yard, and will soon couple on to FO4 and return to Binghampton.
