This festive former PRR C425 was found idling in front of the Steamtown roundhouse along with Delaware Lackawanna's former DL&W Caboose.
No. 26 is a lot smaller than a Big Boy but that doesn't mean the little filly cannot put on a show. When the temp is in the teens Fahrenheit, this is what happens.
The DL local returns to Steamtown Yard from Taylor Yard in Scranton, Penn, with a transfer run on 10/28/19.
Steamtown's Reading 467 is an RS-3. It is displayed in the old Erie Lackwanna yard with a small freight train.
The yard is quiet but has a nice selection of MLW and ALCO power.
