As the day's snow storm subsides, Amtrak's phase 3 painted NCPU leads the last Boston-bound Downeaster passed the recently restored B&M Plaistow depot.

In a scene reminiscent of the 1990's, Amtrak's 40th Anniversary NCPU is coupled to the matching great dome "Ocean View" on the Downeaster.

Painted for Cascade service but now ensconced in Surfliner service, an Amtrak NCPU (rebuilt from a F40PH) takes up the rear on the morning train to San Luis Obispo.
