2 local girls ignore metre gauge YP 2358 as it leaves Kodaikanal Road with the Madurai Tirupati Express (note the headboard). This line is now converted to 5 feet 6 inch gauge.

This was the last winter on SJ:s last narrow gauge line with passenger traffic. Gauge was 891 millimeters.
