An eastbound BNSF Z train crawls out of the hole at Scenic after waiting for a tunnel flush. Two fresh feet of snow fell overnight which helped make that mountains look fantastic!

A long empty oil train glides through the dip near Dryden as it heads east. It's on it's last few miles before it stops in Wenatchee for a crew change.
A westbound BNSF Q train exits the west portal of the 7.8 mile long Cascade Tunnel. Much to my surprise at the time, the NS Penn Central heritage unit happened to be third out in the consist!
