Western Maryland 1309 charges up the grade towards Frostburg as the sun comes out for the first time of the day.

Arriving at the station in Frostburg, WM 1309 take's a rest after the journey from Cumberland.

Western Maryland 1309 leads its long passenger train up the steep grade at the Number 9 Switch on a cold December afternoon.

At the Depot. The nicely restored Mallet locomotive takes a break at the Frostburg Depot on a Lerro charter.
