With the preferred route undergoing heavy upgrades, the Night Gas takes the long way to Pipeline via the 4th Sub, seen here blasting through a rock cut just east of Frenchtown.

After making quick work of Pipeline, the Day Gas heads back to Missoula. It will be a little longer trip as they are a river runner, but they will make good time home nonetheless.
