Clear sky behind me, nice breeze and great visability on a late spring evening.
The 945 just passing under the Eads Bridge, which was completed in 1874, southbound and heading into the tunnels in front of the Gateway Arch.
The 5446 leads an eastbound grain train north along the Mississppi river passing a towboat pushing barges north thru Hannibal, Mo.
Just comming into veiw. The rock outcropping is Lovers Leap and it is quite a leap too! The Mississppi River is the backdrop, and the trees are in Illinois.
Sitting quietly in the yard.
Foreign power rolling eastbound on the BNSF River Sub towards the Lindenwood Yard.
UP 3046 pours on the coal as it overtakes the 3026 on its left while a couple of railfans give the engineer a wave.
UP 3026 sounding sweet as she crosses the diamonds @ Rochelle. Too bad the 3028 isn't behind the 3027!
Good looking SD40-2.
I like the odd size number boards.
Eastbound on a beautiful spring day!
This train was suprisingly smooth and quiet as it passed.
