611 poses briefly with two stablemates, Sourthen FP7 #6133 and ACL 501, both residents of the NC Transportation Museum. ACL E-3 #501 had been given a decal to appear as a N&W engine.

This was the first time 611 had run under her own power since December of 1994. I was one of the first to see her move after her restoration.

With her first cruise around the museum property complete, 611 rests for the night outside the roundhouse.
