All three of EJ&E's leased HLCX SD40M-3s led by 6056 in a SD40 body, lead a eastbound taconite train. The second engine is in a SD45 body while the third is in a very rare SDP45 body.

The crew of EJ&E 670 gets back on after uncoupling from the rest of the train. It will head to the West Bridge Junction, cross over and return light to Joliet Yard.

EJ&E caboose 539 trails JSW2 through Crest Hill. This caboose has both the old Chicago Outer Belt Line logo and the newer "J" logo on it.
