The "Crescent" on its way south

The Crescent shoves out to the yard.

Heading out of town on the elevated mainline through Wilmington.

The southbound Crescent hustles along the scenic bayous of Louisiana moments before crossing Lake Pontchartrain just outside of the big easy.

Lettering that likely was applied over 40 years ago refuses to give up; "Heritage" equipment, indeed.

Set up for the reflection shot, get a nice train, and ... the side of AMTK 90 has lost almost all of its blue numbering and logo. Another trackside "oh well"!
