The ice on the river is starting to melt as the temps here have been above 32F the last few days. The Cascade Paper mill refects of the melted through part of the Chippewa River.

Looking up Madison Street Hill, you can see the work that had to be done to seperate this once long ago grade crossing.
The 4th unit back, UP 715, has a bright yellow paint job that I'm sure isn't to UP's specifications.

The UP 2991 passes over Madison St. which at one time use to be a at grade crossing. You can imagine what they had to do to seperate rail from the road.
