Amtrak's Flagship of the east departs Sanford.

Auto Train starts it's long journey north. This once was the massive "Rand Yard" a huge yard when SCL was here. Over time the yard grew into disuse until Sunrail put their facility here.

Pounding across the Ortega River bridge, Amtrak’s auto train is an hour and a half early on its journey to Lorton Virginia.
