611 rolls down the grade from Christiansburg enroute to Radford, VA.

After ascending N&W's Blue Ridge grade, N&W J-Class 4-8-4 No. 611 passes the interlocking at Webster on the final leg of its roundtrip public excursion from Roanoke to Lynchburg and return.

The 611 passes one of the Remaining CPL signals on the line.

The engineer puts out a nice plume of smoke to the delight of all gathered to watch the final American excursion head west towards Front Royal.
