The mighty 101 rolls into St. Augustine.
Twas the day before Christmas and all along the line, FEC was getting it's crews home on time.
The Great conjunction occurred on the rails today as well as the skies, as two LNG sets were called upon to hustle 101 south.
It is a cool breezy day as 226 rolls through St. Augustine.

What a difference a week makes in the weather. Last week tides and rain, this week settled and sunny as 226 makes it's normal appearance.

Storm Surge from a local nor'easter threatened the FEC mainline with water actually approaching the rails in some spots. The FEC was still operating with caution through the area.
Nor'easter conditions along with lunar tides brought a considerable storm surge and flooded St. Augustine, but FEC was able to keep running.
