A SD40 leading an intermodal train? I wish, this is UP's Global 3 pull down job. UP 1818 and sister unit 1822 have a GEVO with them as they shove a cut of cars back into the facility.

Heading eastbound with an SD62 and MNPPR in tow, UP 1996 shines in the morning sun.
With a couple friendly toots from the passing coal train, the pull down works the west end of Global 3 with two SD40Ns. The C&NW twins can barley be seen in the distance.
Work to replace broken rail is underway as a eastbound coal train passes by on the opposing track.

BNSF 2351 leads a Metra coach towards Rochelle, IL. This coach is going back to Nipon Sharyo in Rochelle for repairs or upgrades.
