BAR 97 GP-38 leased to the D&H at Conklin yard 17FEB89
In the early 70's power short CP leased a dozen Bangor & Aroostook geeps to help out the power pool. BAR 74 is the high-lite of a dreary day of railfanning the Vancouver area.
BAR was a "working museum" in the late '70's. This was a typical scene at NMJ during that era.
The BAR was an extraordinary railroad in many ways. Not the least was it's friendship with railfans evidenced here by BL-2 557 "The American Railfan".
