A short 5 car KB&S hopper train heads south by the elevator at Heaton, IL. Does anyone happen to know what business they have south of Cheneyville other than storage cars?

Shortly after crossing the TP&W, KBS 701 & 702 roll across the harvested fields and small wind farm outside Sheldon, IL on the Danville Branch.

A southbound gondola train departs the KB&S headquaters at Iroquois on the line to Lafayette. Another crew would grab a small cut of cars for Cheneyville and Danville.

KBSR GP38-2M 705 waits at the south end of the Darrow elevator with three loaded plastic pellet hoppers, while another crew picks up 47 loaded grain hoppers to attach to the rear of this train.

Enroute to Iroquois Junction, the KB&S heads south through the countryside. Along for the ride are two former Erie Mining F9(A)'s, bound for the Vermilion Valley Railroad in Olin, IN.
