VIA's westbound Ocean makes its way down the HOT-Rock Connecting Track.

VIA #17 heads west into the sunset along Chaleur Bay traveling down the scenic Gaspe' coast at 20:01.

It is approaching 8:50 a.m. and the Atlantic Limited is near the end of its overnight journey from Montreal via the shortcut across northern Maine.
