A loaded ore train with 15065 leading is busy crossing here over the Soutrivier (Salt river) as well as the N7 highway through an area called Knersvlakte (meaning gnashing or grinding plains).
With only minutes of sunlight left 3 class 35s grind up the grade with a load from the Namaqua Sands plant which they will drop off at Loop 4 of the Sishen - Saldanha ore line.
