Northern Pacific Alcos 912 and 908 are at the shops in Pasco, WA in the summer of 1970. Note the differing style of numbers and a roof mounted bell on only one of the units.

Shortly after the merger of GN, NP, SP&S and CB&Q there were many examples of mixed running and mixed consists. Witness this meet at Scribner, WA on the former SP&S with a GN U25B and a NP SD45.
