Amtrak Train #516 was running about 20 minutes late as typical as it speeds through Mukilteo to make up lost time.

The nightly Cascades service heads north out of Seattle for points up the coast. Behind the train, lite power pokes it's head out of the tunnel heading for the yard in Interbay.

The Solstice gives railfans everywhere extra light to shoot later into the evening, giving more than enough light for the 7pm Cascades.

Beach goers hardly notice the the Amtrak Cascades silently rolling north.
