Bridge repair work in South Florida causing 12 hour curfews has made for some interesting trains up this way, such as 240 with two retro blues. Maryann getting her shots.

A suprise today! This showed up! FEC 240 with what appears to be cars and a locomotive that was leant to NASA.

FEC 240 with a fantastic lashup of 3 GP40's, two in the "Retro Blue" scheme lead about 11,000 ft of intermodal and autoracks northward. Every once in a while the FEC throws a surprise.

The first of the 4 trains in 2 hours arrives on a cold frosty morning in St. Augustine. Looks closely you can see 4 motors and some frost on the grass.

FEC 714 leads FEC 240 into the sun on a very hot and humid morning. FEC 141-240 is also the City Point Turn pretty rare in daylight.

Finally got a good shot of the 714, my favorite locomotive, in the database; today pulling along some special passengers. :) My main interest is passenger trains, what a nice combination.

After delivering the very last Space Shuttle Booster rockets, the power returns north as FEC 240 after making a pickup at New Smyrna on the return trip to Bowden.

FEC 240 backs onto the old main line, the first time I can remember a passenger train on this line in many years.
