Amtrak Cascades passes some scenic country along the Puget Sound.

An Amtrak Cascades train makes its way through the scenic Pacific Northwest with a Talgo Series 8 train set. Note the lack of the unique "fins" that are found on the Series 7 sets.

Amtrak 469 shoves train 513 south near MP 82 at the south end of Chuckanut Drive near Sammish Bay. The train will meet a freight at Bow Siding in about a mile before arriving at Mt. Vernon, WA.

A beautiful, calm morning and making good time.

Another fantastic sunset that the passengers of Cascades 508 were able to witness from the comfort of their seats.

During the last hour of sunlight a Talgo train scoots southbound through Tenino, WA and will end its trip in Eugene, OR near midnight.

Out of the most "uneventful" winter in the Puget Sound, comes a stunning sunset. Finally, passengers aboard the Cascades get to see something in the sky other than gray or black.
