FEC 905 heads south with 427 which was repainted into the 2KBlue scheme last year as the FEC abandoned the Retro Blue.

FEC 427 is the newest repaint, however it appears that "Retro Blue" has been abandoned in favor for the older 2K blue.

FEC train 109 brings in another ethanol train for a customer near Port Everglades with some classic EMD power.

Close encounter! FEC 427 was racing north through the siding at Gifford when this FEC track maintenance truck on the main line suddenly appeared in my camera viewfinder.

Relatively new train, FEC 212 rolls through Bunnell on a very humid morning. FEC 212 is the northbound counterpart to FEC 111 a Jax to City Point turn. This train has been abolished.

After meeting FEC 222 at Bayard, local 977 works one of the many industrial parks south of Jacksonville with that famous Florida sunshine brightening up the veteran GP40-2.

FEC 224 lead by pretty much standard power, though it is more common to get two GP's on this train. The Crowley containers are always the giveaway, reflecting the waters on this warm morning.
