December in Florida and it's 70 degrees already this morning. FEC 226 approaches the tidewater in the Nation's Oldest City.

Once or twice a year the NS Geometry train makes an appearance. The FEC always has been a top notch operation and looking after it's infrastructure has always been a priority.

Surprise! FEC Work 704 south hustles through Bunnell with an NS Geometry Train on a crisp clear day, the first clear day in a while. Maybe the rainy season is finally over.

FEC 101 lead by ex UP SD40-2 #704 slides through Colfax on a warm March day. Will not be to much longer before high sun will make shots of 101 challenging.

FEC 226 at sunrise at St. Augustine. A software issue is preventing the Rail America engines from leading. EMD is supposed to fix it soon.

The last FEC 105 wheels out of Bunnell. FEC 105 will cease to operate in 2009. FEC will consolidate a few trains which will end 105, 117, 208 and 218 and change the times of 202 and 226.

Hot on the heels of train #224, SD40-2 704 hauls additional intermodal traffic on train #226 through St Augustine on it's way to Jacksonville.

FEC train 240 heads NB at Stuart, FL, as seen from the US 1 bridge. I'm sure the people who will move into those expensive condos aren't going to appreciate the train next door.

A very late FEC 206 hurries north through Bunnell on a warm humid tropical day. 206 was replaced by 210 which now runs through Bunnell near mid day.
