The Whippany Railway Museum has completed its cosmetic restoration of Rahway Valley GE 70-ton number 16.

The Whippany Railway Museum has completed the lettering of RV 16. Finishing touches will complete the restoration of this historic, circa 1951, locomotive.

THE METAMORPHASIS BEGINS: Rahway Valley number 16 is now resplendant in its as-delivered paint scheme of red and black. The finishing touches will be the yellow lettering and sidesill markings.
