VIA Rail Arrives in Toronto

A mid-morning VIA Rail train arrives in Toronto nearly 30 minutes late behind a single F40PH-3 pulling five cars.

Snow is coming down hard as Halifax-Montreal VIA Rail Ocean is crossing the Richelieu River with a full Budd stainless steel consist.

With its station stop and meet of an eastbound container complete, an ontime Canadian heads West onto the Caramat Sub. The next station stop is 143 miles away, at Armstrong.

The Canadian slows down to take the siding at Longlac to meet CN Q18650 01.
