It's Sunday morning, and 501 is set to tow 734 and her train over to Cumberland. The idea is to hold down 734's smoke in Ridgely, the folks are a complaing.

Crew enjoys a nice summer day on the way to Frostburg. A cab ride in 734 is great..but the ride in 501 offers a wonderful view of the 15.6 mile ride up the hill from Cumberland!

The unmistakable face of a GP30 is here represented by WMSR 501. In a few, the 501 will be assisting WMSR 734 up the hill to Frostburg with a seasonal heavy load of passenger cars.

501 brings the photo charter back into town with an ominous sky looming above and the cumberland narrows behind.
