After switching ends they await the LIRR train from Greenport to pass before heading west.

The 261 is long hood forward returning from Riverhead. To the right used to be the LIRR station that consisted of a bus shelter only. No parking lot. It was removed when the bilevels came on line.... (more)

The RS 61 is on the move after an LIRR electric MU has arrived from New York's Penn Station. 270 five cars and the 261 on the east end head back to Pine Aire their base of operations.

The crew is passing Mister Softee after switching Combined Container. This is normally a nocturnal move. The conductor is stopping traffic on Merritt Ave before proceeding towards Wyandanch DEF.
